Kollam: Actress Navya Nair turned emotional after seeing veteran actor T P Madhavan who is now living at Gandhi Bhavan in Pathanapuram. The actress saw him when she arrived to receive the Garfi Film Award by Gandhi Bhavan Rural Film Institute. She said that she has acted with the actor in many films and she was unaware that he was living there.

“Saw Madhavan chettan when I came here. We have acted together in movies like Kalyana Raman and Chathikatha Chanthu. I did not know that he was here. I was shocked at first. I have not considered anyone above my parents. My eyes teared up when I saw him. One can never be sure that they will not end up in a similar situation in the future.”

“‘Mata Pita Guru Daivam’ - is what we have been taught from a young age. There are many parents here who are living a life contrary to that. I don’t know what can be done for them on my part. But I wish to present a dance performance for them giving all that I have got. Feel free to call me for any dance performances that you may need for any of your programmes,” Navya said.
