In an interview to a YouTube channel, Tamil actor Ponnambalam, who recently underwent a kidney transplant, alleged that his brother tried to poison him.
“My kidneys were not damaged due to drinking. My father has four wives. My half brother from his third wife used to work as my manager. I trusted him a lot. Yet, one day he mixed slow poison in my beer and that adversely affected my kidneys,” said the actor.
Ponnambalam alleged that his half brother continued to mix poison in his food and it was the doctors who identified the same. Further, the actor also alleged that his brother did black magic against him.
“Whatever I have earned by getting punched and hit in around 1500 movies is for my family. When I came to know that my brother did this to me, it hurt me a lot,” he added.
Ponnambalam who began his career as a stuntman has played villain roles in numerous movies in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
