Mollywood superstar Mohanlal’s most-anticipated movie ‘Aarattu’ will hit theatres on February 10, 2022. The makers have confirmed the release date on Thursday.
Earlier, it was rumoured that the movie will be released on October 14. The first look poster and teaser of the movie also gained much attention on social media.
Udayakrishna has penned the story of ‘Aarattu’. The full title of the movie is ‘Neyattinkara Gopante Aarattu’.
‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Maara’ fame actress Shraddha Srinath played the female lead in the movie.
The movie has a stellar cast including Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique and Vijayaraghavan.
Interestingly, musical maestro AR Rahman is also associated with this movie.
According to reports, ‘Aarattu’ will be a comedy-action entertainer.
The movie has also marked the collaboration of Mohanlal and director Unnikrishnan after the superhit crime thriller ‘Villain’.
