Kollywood star couple Jyotika and Suriya celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on September 11, Saturday. Marking the wedding anniversary, Jyotika took to her Instagram page and shared an adorable picture with Suriya.
The couple was seen in all smiles while posing for a perfect selfie.
“15 years of happiness. Thank you all for all the love and blessings,” Jyotika captioned the photo.
As a special gift to her husband on wedding anniversary, Jyotika sketched a portrait of Suriya. She also penned a heart-felt note to the true man and best friend in her life.
“Meeting the right person is fate, Becoming his wife is a choice, But falling in love more n more each day with the same person is beyond our control - only because he is who he is - A TRUE MAN. To the father of my children, my husband, my co star, my mother in disguise and most importantly my best friend! A small gift from me on this special day for my Singham,” wrote Jyotika.
The couple fell in love with each other while sharing screen space in the movie ‘Kaakha Kaakha’, released in 2003, according to reports. The duo entered wedlock on September 11, 2006. The couple has two children, daughter Diya and son Dev.
Jyotika who took a break from the industry made an impressive comeback in 2015 with the movie '36 Vayadhinile’, a remake of super hit Malayalam film ‘How Old Are You?’. She was last seen in ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’ and ‘Thambi’.
‘Navarasa’ and Soorarai Pottru’ which had OTT release were Suriya’s latest movies. His upcoming movies are ‘Rocketry’, ‘Jai Bhim’ and ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’.
