‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’ fame actor Dev Mohan will share screen space with Samantha Akkineni in the upcoming movie ‘Shakuntalam’.
Dev has confirmed the news by sharing the motion poster of the movie.
“Really excited about this opportunity.. Thank you so much,” wrote Dev.
According to reports the movie is based on Kalidasa’s epic play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam’.
Samantha will play the role of Shakuntala while Dev will play as king Dushyanthan.
The movie directed by noted Telugu film director Gunasekhar will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
It is learned that ‘Shakuntalam’ will go on floors in Hyderabad soon.
Dev is currently shooting for Malayalam film ‘Pulli’ directed by Jiju Asokan.
