Actor R Madhavan showered praises on Kollywood star Suriya over his incredible performance in the latest release ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by Sudha Kongara was released on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday ahead of Diwali.
The movie is based on the life of GR Gopinath, founder of the low cost airline Air Deccan.
Madhavan watched the movie on the first day of its release and took to twitter to appreciate his colleague.
“@Suriya_offl What a fine,controlled, sincere N spirited performance my bro-so jealous and proud at the same time-was yearning to see you like this N U have surpassed all expectation as an actor-& a HUGE BIG HUG TO THE ENTIRE CAST TOO. Brilliant across the board @PrimeVideoIN,” wrote Madhavan as addressing Suriya.
He also phoned Suriya to share his excitement after watching the movie.
Replying to Madhavan’s tweet, Suriya thanked him for always encouraging him.
"You’re unique @ActorMadhavan Thank you for the long phone call!! You always keep pushing me towards brilliance brother will sure live up to your expectations!!,” tweeted Suriya.
“Broooo now you have set the loftiest standard .. I have to tighten my belt and buckle up... so proud of you,” Madhavan tweeted in reply to Suriya.
Mollywood star Aparna Balamurali has played the female lead in the movie.
The action drama also stars Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Urvashi.
