Mollywood fraternity expressed condolences over the demise of veteran politician, writer and Mathrubhumi managing director MP Veerendra Kumar.

He breathed his last due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Kozhikode on Thursday night.

Sharing a photo of the great leader, the Mollywood stars paid tribute to him on social media.

Actress Manju Warrier shared a memory of receiving an autographed book from Veerendra Kumar while mourning his demise.

“A great personality in politics-literature and social field. Apart from all this, he was a great host. I wish his blessing will be always with me like the words on his book which he gifted to me with his signature,” wrote Manju Warrier.

Prithviraj, Indrajith, Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban, Unni Mukundan and many other celebrities also paid homage to Veerendra Kumar through social media platform.
