Actor Manju Warrier has expressed grief over the boat accident in Tanur, Malappuram which claimed 22 lives. Taking to Facebook, the actor said that it was saddening to hear about the death of 22 people.

“My condolences. It is saddening to know that 22 people, who were with us till the other day, are no more. Let them be at peace in eternity.”

The actor also extended prayers for the injured who are undergoing treatment at hospital.

Double-decker boat ‘Atlantic’, which carried around 37 passengers capsized at Ottumpuram, Tanur around 7 pm on Sunday leading to the death of 22 people, including 15 minors.
