Mammootty pays visit to MT Vasudevan Nair at his residence in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: Actor Mammootty paid a visit to veteran writer MT Vasudevan Nair at his residence ‘Sithara’ in Kozhikode on Tuesday evening. The actor, who completed the Wayanad shooting schedule of his upcoming film ‘Kannur Squad’, met with MT while on his way back to Kochi.

Amid the visit, director Hariharan dropped in as a special guest of the day. Following which, the trio spent around one hour exchanging pleasantries and talking about books and movies.

“I had wished to meet MT while acting in a movie based on his story ‘Kadugannawa: Oru Yathra Kurippu’. As I could not meet him then, I decided to come over here while returning from Wayanad,” said Mammootty.

Amid the talks, the actor explained about the novel technologies in reading and setting up large projectors at home to watch movies. He also told MT about the special features of projectors offering high quality audio-visual experience.

Meanwhile, MT also shared the experience of partaking in the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL) in Thiruvananthapuram.
