Kozhikode: Amid the rising uncertainties of movie releases due to the pandemic, the managing partner of Crown Theatre in Kozhikode Vinod Iyer posted a personal account of his anxieties from the perspective of a film exhibitor.

Though the movie ‘Hridayam’ created a confusion over its release date, it hit the theatres on Friday which turned out to be a great relief for the exhibitors. However, Soubin Shahir and Dileesh Pothan-starrer Kallan D’Souza has been postponed in view of the weekend lockdown announced in the state.

Over the functioning of the theatre, Vinod Iyer wrote, “News is that the next two Sundays will be totally locked down.. else, nothing new. (We’re operating at 50% capacity)”.
