Kochi: Malayalam actor Harish Pengan passed away while undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments at a private hospital in Kochi on Tuesday. He was 48.
Harish Pengan was known for his comedy roles. He delivered notable performances in Minnal Murali, Honey Bee 2.5, Mahestinte Prathikaran, Shefeekkinte Santhosham, Vellari Pattanam, Jan. E. Man and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.
Earlier, the film fraternity sought financial help for his medical treatment. His friends revealed that doctors had informed them that he needed immediate liver transplant surgery.
