Kochi: The High court ordered the police chief to watch the movie ‘Churuli’ to examine if there is any statutory violation in the movie. The court was hearing a petition filed by Peggy Fen about the content of the film alleging it was abusive and obscene.

Justice PV Kunhikrishnan had voluntarily added the police chief in the order. He ordered to form a special team and submit a report within three days of watching the movie. The petitioner had asked for the removal of the film from the OTT platform.
