Disney+ Hotstar has announced its first Malayalam web series, ‘Kerala Crime Files’, featuring Lal and Aju Varghese in lead roles. The series is being directed by ‘June’ and ‘Madhuram’ fame Ahammed Khabeer.
Dropping the announcement video on Twitter, the makers wrote, “#HotstarSpecials #KeralaCrimeFiles first ever Malayalam Web Series from Disney+ Hotstar.”
The series, which reportedly revolves around crime tales from Kerala, is produced by Rahul Riji Nair, and the screenplay is done by Ashiq Aimar. Editing is by Prathap Raveendran, and Mahesh Bhuvanend is the production designer.
