Kunchacko Boban donates tablet computers to differently abled children

Mollywood star Kunchacko Boban also took part in the tablet challenge organized by MP Hibi Eden to help children who are unable to attend online classes. The ‘Anjaam Pathira’ actor donated tablets to differently-abled children in Ernakulam parliamentary constituency on Wednesday.

Sharing the happiness to be part of the noble initiative, Chackochan took to his Instagram page and shared a pic.

“Happy to be associated with the Tablet challenge organized by our dear MP Hibi Eden. And the event was extra special as it was given to the specially gifted kids from different schools. Thanking all the kind hearted people who helped and supported the movement. God bless all,” wrote Kunchacko Boban.

MP Hibi Eden launched the tablet challenge on June 2. The project which aimed to collect tablet computers for unprivileged children officially concluded on June 24, Wednesday.

301 tablets were collected under the programme. In this, 174 were donated to children in government schools, 108 to private school students, one to student in Kendriya Vidyalaya and 18 to differently-abled children, informed MP Hibi Eden through his Facebook post.

Many celebrities including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and others donated television and other electronic devices to poor students for attending online classes.
