Chennai: Thalapathy Vijay has met the members of his fans association after a long gap of five years here. According to reports, only members of his fans association ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’ got the opportunity to meet the actor at the formal meeting held in the association's office at Panaiyur here. Nearly 500 association ID card-holding members were allowed to enter the venue.
The actor interacted with his fans and clicked photos with them. He also advised them to take care of their families before engaging in social work. The fans association have been carrying out various social and relief works across Tamil Nadu.
The actor’s meeting with his fans has raised speculations about his entry into politics. Earlier, his father SA Chandrasekhar registered a political party called ‘All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’. But Vijay filed a case against this move.
On the work front, the actor will be next seen in 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
