‘KING went nowhere, waited for the right time to RULE’: Karan Johar on ‘Pathaan’ 


As the much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ hit the theatres on Wednesday, numerous celebrities have come out lauding the movie for its power packed action sequences and engaging narrative.

Expressing his excitement for the film’s response, filmmaker Karan Johar hailed Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback and penned a long note on social media praising the film’s director, producer among others.

Taking to Instagram, Karan wrote, “I don’t remember when I last had such a fun time at the movies!!!! This one’s just the biggest blockbuster !!! Mega is the word!!! The charm, charisma , superstardom, desirability and sheer brilliance of @iamsrk … the hottest , beautiful and sensationally gorgeous agent you will ever find @deepikapadukone the sexiest and most desirable villain @thejohnabraham !!!

Brilliantly directed and conceptualised by SID ANAND! He knows how to mount a film like very few can…. I am so so so proud of my BFF the invisible ADITYA CHOPRA!!! You may never see him! But his vision and brilliance is insurmountable! And as for the KING! He went nowhere, he just waited for the right time to RULE! Love you bhai @iamsrk !!! Love you Adi! And love you BOLLYWOOD!

Meanwhile, SRK will be seen in director Atlee's upcoming action thriller film 'Jawan' and Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'.

Deepika, on the other hand, will be next seen in 'The Intern', in a Pan India film 'Project K' alongside actor Prabhas and in director Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan.
