Kochi: A new controversy has broken out in the Malayalam film industry as the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes), Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA) in a joint move on Tuesday banned actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi.

The film bodies during the media interaction claimed that the duo has been creating issues for artists, technicians and producers. “We have received many complaints against them,” noted FEFKA.

The film bodies also highlighted drug use among some in the industry and maintained that they are not ready to associate with such individuals.

The move comes a week after FEFKA expressed its displeasure over the way "some" of the actors behave. Reports then said the troublemakers are a few of the new-generation actors. The new development comes at this juncture.
