Restricting arrest of the trio, the HC permitted the Crime Branch to interrogate the actress if necessary. In the order, the HC pointed out that the crime branch should issue a notice as per CrPC 41-A.
A bench headed by Justice Ashok Menon considered Sunny Leone’s anticipatory bail plea here on Wednesday.
Last week, the Crime Branch recorded her statement at Thiruvananthapuram in the case. Perumbavur native and programme coordinator Shiyas lodged a complaint against the actress. He also alleged that Sunny had taken Rs 29 lakh as advance for attending the event.
His complaint also noted that the manager of the actress received the money in instalments from him.
