Actor Jayaram has once again stolen the hearts of viewers with his mimicry performance. This time, the actor took an attempt to imitate popular actress Kovai Sarala at the JFW Achievers Awards 2022.
“When I got an opportunity to act in a Tamil movie for the first time, I always thought of acting alongside Kovai Sarala. I love her accent, voice and modulation,” said Jayaram while presenting the award to Kovai Sarala.
In an amusing anecdote, the actor recollected Sarala telling him that she is also a Malayalee and her native place is Marathakkara near Thrissur.
In response, Sarala said, “Jayaram is my favourite actor. I am very happy to receive award from him.”
Earlier, Jayaram’s imitation of actor Prabhu at the audio launch of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ had taken the audience by storm.
