As Sanju Samson led Rajasthan Royals to a three-run win over Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash on Wednesday, Mollywood stars Jayaram and Biju Menon, who were seated in the gallery, could not contain their excitement.
The duo was spotted keenly watching the match and happily cheering for Sanju Samson as Rajasthan Royals scored 175/8 in 20 overs. They were among a long list of celebrities who came to cheer for their favourite players at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Several Kollywood stars, including Trisha Krishnan, Sathish, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Bindu Madhavi, Megha Akash, Aishwarya Rajesh among others, were also spotted in the gallery.
With the win, Rajasthan has climbed to the top of the IPL table. In total, it has six points from three wins in four games. Its next opponent is Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
