The clash happened at Tagore theatre

Thiruvananthapuram: The ongoing 27th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala has been earning badmouth over recurring delegate-volunteer clashes and booking issues. Some delegates entered into a quarrel with organisers moments before the screening of Mammotty-starrer Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam on Monday at Tagore theatre.

According to reports, the delegates protested about issues related to reservations. There was heavy rush and many alleged that those who booked were not able to enter the theatre due to crowding. Police had to intervene as a clash erupted.

However, this is not the first instance. A quarrel broke out between people and the organisers during the screening of the Tovino Thomas-starrer movie ‘Vazhakku’ at Aries Plus SL Cinemas on Sunday too. There was also an issue with the reservations.
