Mohanlal and Suchitra
Suchitra Mohanlal, wife of Mollywood superstar Mohanlal, opened up about her love story while addressing the launch of ‘Barroz’, Mohanlal’s directorial debut movie.
“In the last years, I decided to be low profile and take a backseat. I stepped back from all the busy programmes. I addressed an event for my son Appu’s (Pranav Mohanlal) debut movie. Today, I am addressing a gathering as part of the best moment in my husband’s life. As an actor, he has achieved everything. Now, he is taking a new step as a director. So I must speak today,” said Suchitra while addressing the event.
“When I saw him in the first movie ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal', I hated him. I used to hate him whenever he featured the role of a villain. But I knew that I disliked him because he was so perfect in his job. After watching ‘Ente Mammattikuttiyammakku’, I started to like him. Slowly, I fell in love with him and we got married. Today, he is my favourite actor,” said Suchitra.
She also lauded her husband’s decision to direct ‘Barroz’ .
Suchitra added that she hopes he will be her favourite director in future.
