Veteran film director Mani Ratnam opened up about his affection towards Mollywood director Lijo Jose Pellissery. He stated that he is a huge fan of the ‘Jallikettu’ director.
Mani Ratnam revealed it on a Facebook live video in which he interacted with the audience along with his wife Suhasini on Tuesday amid the lockdown. When the duo came on Facebook live, Lijo was also among viewers of the Facebook live video. It was Suhasini who alerted her husband about the talented director who was among their viewers.
Following this, Mani Ratnam showered praises on Lijo.
“ Lijo, I am your huge fan. You are one of the brilliant directors in the industry. Keep it up,” said Mani Ratnam as he addressed Lijo in the presence of thousands of his audience.
Suhasini also added that her husband used to talk a lot about Lijo’s films. She noted that she watched only one movie directed by Lijo.
Along with the couple, actors Madhavan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Khushbu also joined the Facebook live which aired through Suhasini’s Facebook page.
