Guru Somasundaram
Tamil actor Guru Somasundaram who won the hearts of the Malayalam film audience with 'Minnal Murali' will play a lead role in the upcoming Malayalam movie 'Haya'.
‘Haya’ is the directorial venture of Vasudev Sanal who made a handful of movies, including ‘Priyam’ and ‘God's Own Country’. Writer and journalist Manoj Bharathi penned the script for the movie which will be released under the banner of Six Silver Souls Studio Production. ‘Haya’ which is touted as a campus thriller will discuss a socially relevant subject.
Lal Jose, Johny Antony, Sreekanth Murali, Sree Dhanya, Kottayam Ramesh, Biju Pappan, Sreeraj, Aparna Janardhanan, Aswin, Laya Simson, Sreeja Ajith, Jordi Poonjar, Veena Venugopal who is India’s first wheelchair anchor and Sanal Kallat will be seen in major roles in the movie.
The shooting of the movie has been proceeding in locations like Mysore, Nilambur, Kochi and Kanjirappally. Varun Sunil who leads the popular music band Masala Coffee composed songs for ‘Haya’. Cinematographer Jiju Sunny and editor Arun Thomas are also associated with the project.
