Kozhikode: Grihalakshmi has honoured KS Chithra after she received the Padma Bhushan award. The February edition of Grihalakshmi will feature the complete volume of the playback singer’s musical career.
It will include KS Chithra’s exclusive photoshoot and interview held at her residence in Chennai’s Saligramam.
KS Chithra also shares the background stories of her songs that won National awards, about the songs that influenced her and also about the memories of her late daughter.
The 6-time National award winning playback singer also describes her relationship with the legendary singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, who passed away recently. The special edition also features Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri’s account of his experience working with Chithra.
Actress Anusree will feature in the cover of the second part of Grihalakshmi. The second part will have discussion on the topic of Supreme Court’s observation that house wives are eligible for fixed income.
The new edition of Grihalakshmi will also have the heart breaking experience of the mother of Walayar children, a conversation with Bobby Chemmannur and the world of books of Kozhikode Mayor Beena Philip.
