Reports have emerged that the financial dealings of actor Mohanlal are under scanner.
The income tax (IT) officials reportedly visited Mohanlal at his flat at Kundanoor in Ernakulkam and recorded his statement.
The officials reportedly have been examining his dealings including those with his close aide cum producer Antony Perumbavoor.
The IT officials' visit comes at a time when the film industry is under the department’s scanner. Officials two months back had raided the offices and production of houses of some individuals in the industry.
Meanwhile, IT officials in 2011 had raided the houses of actors like Mohanlal, Mammootty among others.
