Mollywood actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has donated to help the daily wage workers in the Malayalam film industry. She contributed the donation to the fundraising programme of FEFKA titled ‘Karuthal Nidhi’ for the poor workers who went jobless amid lockdown.
After receiving a donation from Aishwarya, FEFKA took to the official Facebook page and expressed gratitude to her as being the only young star to contribute to the fund.
“FEFKA is proud to reveal that Aishwarya Lekshmi is the only star in the new generation who voluntarily came forward to make donations to the fund like the senior actors including Mohanlal and Manju Warrier,” reads a Facebook post of FEFKA.
“Film employees including assistant directors, production assistants who serve food, drivers and others in 19 associations under FEFKA express sincere gratitude to your love and care,” wrote FEFKA.
FEFKA also greeted Aishwarya Lekshmi for a wonderful career in the industry.
On the work front, Aishwarya Lekshmi will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, a Tamil historic drama.
