The recent interviews of actor-director Dhyan Sreenivasan had led to discussions on social media. While some of his comments were taken in lighter notes, some others turned into controversies. Following this, Dhyan has decided to take a break from giving interviews for a while. In a Facebook live video on his latest movie ‘Prakashan Parakkatte,’ Dhyan stated that he won’t give interviews in the foreseeable future.
Dhyan started his live video by saying "everyone should watch the movie if possible and I will be happy for the positive reviews." When a viewer inquired about his new interviews, Dhyan said: "I have learned that some people like my interviews. But my father has returned home from the hospital. Therefore, I should be a good child at home. It will be a low-profile life for me for some time. There will be no interviews soon because there are no movies scheduled for release."
"My family says that I shouldn’t give interviews on my own. They fear that I might mock them as well in my interviews. There are issues in the family WhatsApp group. So far, I have only mentioned my father and brother in the interviews. I am currently removed from the WhatsApp group, but they will add me back after some days. I hope to stay a good kid. I shall tell my stories through my movies," he added.
Dhyan also gave an interesting comment to a fan’s comment on weight gaining. "Earlier, I used to drink at night, but it has stopped. The only relief is food, and I don’t care if I get kicked out of films because of my weight," he said.
