Actor Dulquer Salmaan has bagged the BBC Top Gear India Award 2023 for Petrolhead Actor of the year for his performance in the Hindi film ‘Chup: Revenge of the Artist’.
Recently, the actor had won the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival award for best actor in a negative role for the same movie and had penned a special note on social media thanking the film’s director R Balki.
The film is touted as a romantic psychopath thriller and is a homage to master filmmaker Guru Dutt and his 1959 classic 'Kaagaz Ke Phool'.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dulquer will be next seen in the action thriller 'King of Kotha'. Helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, the pan India film is set to hit the theatres this Onam season.
