Dulquer’s ‘Kurup’ to hit theatres on May 28


The movie directed by ‘Second Show’ fame Srinath Rajendran will be released in five languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.

Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited movie ‘Kurup’ will hit theatres on May 28, say reports. The movie directed by ‘Second Show’ fame Srinath Rajendran will be released in five languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the movie will have an OTT release as it got sold for a record price. Dulquer fans are eagerly waiting to watch the movie in theatres.

‘Kurup’ marks the first-ever big-budget movie in Dulquer’s career. It is reported that the movie was produced with a budget of Rs 35 crore.

Dulquer Salamaan’s production company - Wayfare films has produced the movie in association with M Star Entertainment.

The movie is based on the life of India’s longest wanted fugitive Sukumara Kurup. Kerala, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Dubai, Mangalore and Mysore were the major locations of the movie.
