As the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), which began on February 18, continues to witness stars across film industries locking horns on the ground, an interesting video of Kerala Strikers captain Kunchacko Boban is currently making rounds on the social media.
The video clip shows Chackochan asking a north Indian fan, who approached him for an autograph, whether he actually knew him or not. The incident took place after the last match of Kerala Strikers in Jaipur.
Apparently, the actor, while signing the autograph for a Jaipur native asked him in Hindi, “Mujhe aapko maaloom hain?”, which roughly translates to “Do you know me?”.
Following which, the actor repeated the question to another person on the row, who replied she was a Malayali. To which Chackochan said, “Aysheri” in Malayalam. Soon after, the video garnered wide attention on social media.
Kerala Strikers, led by Kunchacko Boban, comprises prominent actors including Unni Mukundan, Rajeev Pillai among others.
Earlier, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) had severed its association with the CCL team Kerala Strikers due to disagreements with the management. However, it did not bar association members from playing in the team.
