COVID-19: Allu Arjun donates Rs 25 lakh to Kerala, confirms CM

Tollywood actor Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund for coronavirus preventive measures. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared about the actor’s donation while addressing a press meet on Wednesday.

Earlier, the chief minister requested for donations to CMDRF to carry out COVID-19 preventive measures in the state. He noted that the state needs financial support to prevent the contagious disease and assure treatment to the patients. The Chief Minister pointed out that the CMDRF will be used to raise fund for coronavirus preventive measures.

Allu Arjun was declared his willingness to make donations to Kerala when FEFKA took initiative to raise fund to combat with COVID-19. On March 27, he took to his social media page through a video and declared that he will contribute Rs 1.25 crore to three Southern states namely Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
