Kozhikode: In an exclusive interview with ‘Grihalakshmi’, actor Bhavana Menon opened up about the targeted cyberattacks she had to endure during her fight for justice.

“Now I know that cyberbullying is a profession. People are hired to launch attacks against another person or certain movies,” she said.

She has also not forgotten who hurt her behind her back during the crisis.

“I used to wonder why people, who don't even know me, are saying things like that. I have not gone to any of their houses and created problems. They only know me from the roles I have played on screen,” she said.

Even after receiving good offers in Malayalam cinema, Bhavana chose to stay away from the industry for the sake of her peace of mind. However, she made her comeback, all thanks to some trustworthy friendships.

In the interview, she also shared the working experience of her upcoming release ‘Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn’ directed by debutant Adhil Maimoonath Asharaf.

The full version of the interview has been published in the second December issue of Grihalakshmi magazine.
