Director Shaji Kailas and yesteryear actress Annie are celebrating 24 years of marriage on June 1, Monday.
The director took to his Facebook page to wish his better half on the special occasion and thanked everyone for being part of their journey.
“We are continuing this beautiful journey of mutual respect, love and togetherness. Thank you everyone who have helped us stay strong,” he wrote.
He also called marriage to Annie as the best thing ever happened to him.
“I am a mother to Annie who has no mother by her side to share her happiness and grief. I am everything to her. She may be sad as her words were twisted by some recently, but no matter what, I will stand by her,” he further wrote indicating the criticism the actress have been receiving over the comments she made on her television show.
We have no celebration as the whole world is suffering. Let everyone be blessed with good health, he added.
