Actor Balu Varghese and actress-model Aileena Catherin Amon tied the knot on Sunday. The wedding ceremony was held in a church in the presence of close relatives and friends. Actor Asif Ali attended the wedding with his wife Sama and children. Actors Arjun Ashokan and Ganapathi also were present at the ceremony.
The couple were in a relationship for a long time. They had shared screen space in the movie ‘Vijay Superum Pournamiyum’ in which Asif Ali and Aishwarya Lakshmi starred.
Balu had officially proposed Aileena on her birthday in the presence of their relatives and friends recently. Aileena had shared the happy news through an Instagram post.
Balu Varghese entered film industry as a child artist in the movie ‘Chanthupottu’. He has already acted in over 40 films including Honeybee, King Liar, Ithihasa, Kavi Uddeshichathu and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum.
Aileena gained fame after she participated in a reality show. Later, she worked as a model and also played some noted roles in movies.
