Chennai: Actor Vikram has reportedly suffered a heart attack and has been admitted at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. It has been reported that he did an angioplasty on July 7. Update on his current condition is yet to be released by the hospital authorities.
Vikram’s new movie, Ponniyin Selvan, is set to be released on September 30th, and he was scheduled for the teaser launch Friday at 6 pm in Chennai. Vikram was admitted at Kauvery hospital due to physical discomfort. Sources report that his condition is stable and will be discharged soon.
He had informed his absence from the teaser launch of Ponniyin Selvan and is likely to attend the audio launch of his upcoming movie, Cobra, scheduled on July 11 after resting for some days.
