Kochi: Actor Unni Mukundan could not contain his excitement as he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday amid the ‘Yuvam’ programme in Kochi. Modi invited him to Taj Malabar Hotel, where he stayed and conversed with him for more than half an hour. Modi reportedly inquired with Unni Mukundan about his experience in Gujarat, where the actor had spent almost 24 years of his life.
Taking to social media, the actor shared some pictures with Modi and wrote in the caption, “This is the most electrifying post from this account! thank you sir, from seeing you afar as a 14 year old and now finally Meeting you, I’m yet to recover!”
Saying that he was literally stunned when the leader asked him “Kem cho Bhaila” (How are you my son?) on stage, the actor added, “It was one big dream that I had to meet you and talk to you in Gujarati ! It’s done and what a way it has been ! 45 mins of your time is the best 45 mins of my life ! I will never forget a word you told me… every Advice will be put to practice and implemented ! Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kerala for his two-day visit, flagged off the Vande Bharat Express, Kochi Water Metro and launched several other developmental projects.
