Kochi: Actor Sreenath Bhasi, who came under criticism for humiliating a female journalist during an interview, will appear before police for questioning on Monday. A video of the interview also went viral on social media.
The case was filed before Marad Police for insulting the modesty of a woman. Further, the anchor of the interview also filed a complaint before the Women’s Commission.
According to the complainant, the actor used explicit language during the interview conducted by an online channel in connection with a movie promotion. However, the actor denied allegations levelled against him and claimed that he only responded when the anchor disrespected him.
