Mohanlal releases logo of 'John and Mary Creative Private Limited'
Former minister Shibu Baby John has set his foot in the Malayalam movie industry by establishing a production company named ‘John and Mary Creative Private Limited’. Actor Mohanlal released the logo of the company. RSP leader Shibu Baby John expressed that he aspires to produce fine movies which portray real lives.
Shibu Baby John said that his family’s legacy in business started with his father’s venture ‘Kerala Sea Foods,’ which later developed into ‘Kings Group’. He added that his father Baby John and mother Annamma had seen only two movies together in the theatre. They were ‘Neelakkuyil’ and ‘CID’. He said that the movies were his father’s last resort to console his mother after some squabbles.
Shibu Baby John recollected that the only movie he had seen with his father was Richard Attenborough’s ‘Gandhi’ in 1982. He said that he had seen many movies with his mother in the theatres and the habit still continues.
