Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Indrans has rejected the offer to the governing body of Kerala Chalachitra Academy within days of being nominated to it. In a letter to the chairman, Indrans said he would step down from the General Council as his film and crew members’ films were considered for the state film awards.
Indrans said he has been working on many movies recently and due to his presence in the council, his movies or movies of his co-workers should not be rejected. Hence, he voluntarily stepped down from his position. He also thanked all for the nomination. He was nominated in 2020 as well but he rejected the offer due to the same reason.
