Actor Bala, who had been suffering from liver related ailments for nearly one month, announced on Wednesday that he would undergo a major surgery in the coming days. Taking to Facebook, Bala shared a video of his second wedding anniversary celebrations and said the surgery is scheduled within three days.
"It's been almost a month since I last addressed my fans. Yes, I’m admitted to a hospital. I will undergo major surgery in two-three days. I may die. However, survival possibilities are greater. I hope I can move forward thanks to your prayers,” Bala said.
Furthermore, Bala’s wife Elizabeth added that although their second wedding anniversary had to be celebrated in a hospital, the next one would be celebrated with grandeur and they would also do a dance video then.

Bala, a popular face in the Malayalam film industry, was admitted to hospital earlier this month after he suffered from cough and severe stomach pain. Several celebrities, including Bala’s ex-wife Amrutha Suresh and Unni Mukundan, had visited the actor at the hospital.
