‘Aaraattu’, directed by B Unnikrishnan, starring Mohanlal on lead, break all records in Gulf countries. There are currently 450 screens in 150 locations and 1000 screenings a day. This is an all-time record, claimed the makers.
Mohanlal appears as Neyyattinkara Gopan in the film. Shraddha Srinath is the lead female actor. Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique and Vijayaraghavan are also part of it.
Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman appears in a cameo role in the movie. The previous project of the B Unnikrishnan-Mohanlal team was 'Villain'. This is also Udayakrishna's next script for a Mohanlal movie after 'Pulimurukan'.
