'98 per cent cured', says actor Mithun a week after announcing he was diagnosed with Bell's palsy

Kozhikode: A week after Malayalam actor and television anchor Mithun Ramesh said he was diagnosed with Bell's palsy, the actor announced on social media that his condition was cured by “98 per cent.”

Through his Instagram account, Midhun informed his fans that his health had improved. “I am continuing physiotherapy to treat the remaining condition. Things are almost back to normal. It will all be well soon,” he noted.

It was Mithun himself who announced that he was diagnosed with Bell's palsy.

The condition normally affects one side of the face, making it difficult to move the face muscles on that side. Bell's palsy, a type of facial paralysis, often happens as a reaction to a viral infection, which makes one half of the face droop. In most of the cases, the condition will be cured in weeks.
