New Delhi: The 67th National Film Awards are to be distributed on Monday at 11 am by Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu at Vigyan Bhawan here. Rajinikanth will be awarded Dada Saheb Phalke award. About 15 awards are awaiting for the Malayalam film industry. All the award winners have already reached here by Sunday itself.
These are the awards for Malayalam films:
- Best movie: Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea directed by Priyadarshan
- Best Malayalam movie: Kallanottam
- Best DOP: Gireesh Janardhanan (Jellikettu)
- Best lyricist: Prabha Varma
- Best Debut Director: Mathukutty Xavier
- Best costume designer: Sujith Sudhakaran, V Sasi
- Best Makeup artist: Ranjith
- Best Special Effects: Sidharth Priyadarshan
- Special Jury Award: Sajin Babu
