Lagori music band thanks Kerala and Mathrubhumi
Dubai: ‘Lagori’ a Bengaluru-based music band has been performing in Mojo Rising, the music event sponsored by club FM and Mathrubhumi from its first edition. The team will perform in Mojo Rising in Dubai on Friday.
Lagori led by Tejus Sankar expressed gratitude to Kerala and Mathrubhumi while attending a show in Club FM UAE.
“Though we started our band in Bengaluru, we performed at many events in Kerala. The support from Kerala audience boosted us. Keralites always show great love and respect towards artists. Compared to all other states where we performed, we found the best audience in Kerala,” said Lagori music band members.
They also appreciated Mathrubhumi’s initiative to organise the first edition of Mojo Rising.
“The first edition of Mojo Rising was really fantastic. Mathrubhumi Kappa TV has given a great platform for music lovers who love independent style of music. There is no channel like Kappa TV which promotes musicians,” said the team.
They also expressed happiness to make friendship with singers like Siddharth Menon, Gowry Lekshmi and Sooraj Mani.
Lagori’s cover version of ‘Kaithola’ song which is dedicated to flood affected Kerala also went viral on social media. The musicians also contributed relief to flood victims in Kerala.
The team is all set to woo the audience in Mojo Rising with another super hit number ‘Boom Sankar’.
Lagori will perform Malayalam songs too at the event. Being ardent fans of Mohanlal and Mammootty, they are eagerly waiting to meet Mammootty at the event. They promise best musical extravaganza at Mojo Rising.
