As part of the birth anniversary of poet ONV Kurup, 13 singers have joined hands to pay a musical tribute to him through 13 songs. A video album compiling his selected songs will soon be released in YouTube or social media.
The musical tribute has been prepared by including the first stanzas of the popular songs penned by ONV Kurup.
Singers Jayachandran, K S Chithra, Vidhu Prathap, Kallara Gopan, Rajalakshmi, Aparna Rajeev, Rajeev ONV, Sreeram, Kanchana Sreeram, Saritha Rajeev, Narayani Gopan, Abhilash and Vinoy have sung songs in the video.
Though many programmes were planned by the ONV Cultural Academy commemorating the poet, all of them were cancelled following the COVID lockdown.
