Will not cooperate with Shane until loss of Rs. 7 crore is settled, says Producer Ranjith
Kochi: Kerala Film Producers’ Association Secretary Ranjith has said that there will not be any change in the stance towards actor Shane Nigam. He also said that the association’s decision is not to cooperate with Shane until he pays the producers for the loss they incurred. The producers had earlier decided to shelve the two movies in which the actor was a part of.
Ranjith said that the producers of both the movies collectively have suffered a loss of Rs. 7 crore and that they cannot settle for a compromise considering Shane’s age. He also added that this is not just a warning to Shane Nigam but for all young actors who behave in similar fashion.
Despite A.M.M.A organisation’s intervention in the matter, he behaved indifferently. Shane’s mother had come to the movie set and tried to reach consensus. However, it is not posible to turn a blind eye towards Shane’s irresponsible behaviour despite repeated efforts from his family and various organisations, Ranjth opined.
