Shane Nigam should resume shooting of ‘Veyil’, says director Sarath

The debutant director, who had raised serious allegations against the actor, has changed his stand. He also approached Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) seeking immediate intervention to settle the issue between Producers’ Association and Shane Nigam.
Director Sarath who is making his debut with actor Shane Nigam’s ‘Veyil’ stated that Shane should cooperate with the shooting of the movie. Talking to Mathrubhumi News, he noted that if Shane is willing to cooperate, the shooting can be completed within 15 days.
“I wish Shane would resume shooting. He is like my brother and ‘Veyil’ is his movie as well," said Sarath.
"75 percent of the shooting is already completed. I have been in the project since 5 years. Shane accepted the offer to ‘Veyil’ 4 years ago. We decided to forward the project after the release of Shane’s debut movie ‘Kismath’. We both struggled a lot for ‘Veyil’. I wish all the issues would be settled in a friendly manner,” added Sarath.
The director had sent a letter to FEFKA demanding immediate intervention to resolve the issue.
According to reports, though Shane had a makeover, Sarath want to complete the shooting.
Sarath informed that ‘Veyil’ is his dream project and the movie will be a big break in Shane’s career.
Expressing disgust over the producers’ association’s decision to shelve the movie, Sarath stated that the shooting was abandoned due to misunderstanding.
Earlier, Sarath criticised Shane for having the makeover and non-cooperating with the movie. Shane also took to social media and criticised Sarath for humilating him.
The Producers’ body has decided to shun the movies of Shane Nigam after he had a makeover by violating the contract of his upcoming movies. It was alleged that Shane skipped the shooting without informing the crew.
