Shane Nigam’s issue with film crew to be resolved after Siddique’s intervention
Kochi: Actor Shane Nigam held a meeting with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (A.M.M.A) general secretary Edavela Babu on Saturday as part of settling the issues with the film crew recently took place. The discussion was held at the residence of actor Siddique who is an office-bearer of A.M.M.A.
Shane Nigam assured the office-bearers of A.M.M.A that he is willing to complete the movies which were stopped after the issue. Shane also elaborately explained his version of the issue during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the office-bearers of A.M.M.A will hold discussion with the leadership of Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) within two days in order to clarify some matters uttered by Shane. The number of dates required for completing the shooting of the movie ‘Veyil’ need to be clarified.
Though the director of the movie first asked for 15 days during the compromise discussions, they later demanded 24 days when the actor reached the film set. This resulted in the new turn of events, it is learnt. Shane stated that many parts of the film is yet to be shot and it cannot be completed within the time mentioned by the director.
FEFKA leadership will communicate with the film director in this regard and will inform A.M.M.A general secretary. The discussion with producers’ association will be held only after the issue is clarified.
A.M.M.A leadership is of the opinion that a discussion with Shane Nigam, producer and director need not be held. The matter will be discussed by various organisations and a decision will be taken. Shane has assured complete cooperation with the decision they would take.
