Prithviraj sponsors a truckload of materials to relief camp in Wayanad
When Kerala is reeling under the flood fury, celebrities also came forward with a helping hand for the people affected by the deluge. Actor Prithviraj proved his social responsibility by sponsoring relief materials to people in flood-hit Wayanad.
The actor has handed over a truckload of materials to Anbodu Kochi, a social service group led by his brother actor Indrajith to be transported to Wayanad. Anbodu Kochi is a group of volunteers who are actively engaged with collecting essential materials for people in flood relief camps. Celebrities including film stars are also members of the group.
Indrajith himself revealed Prithviraj’s noble act through social media. He thanked Prithviraj for giving the materials for the flood relief under Anbodu Kochi.
“Our single biggest consignment till now! Thank You Raju for this truckload of materials to Wayanad. Truck No.26 to Tirunelli Grama Panchayat, Wayand,” wrote Indrajith while sharing the pics of the truck on social media.
Anbodu Kochi has been providing essential materials to relief camps in association with district administration.
Regional sports centre in Kadavanthra has been functioning as the collection centre of Anbodu Kochi. Indrajith’s wife and actress Poornima and children also turned volunteers for the group.
